First date coffee

Texting is a great way to get to know someone better, but real "chemistry" is only tested when you meet in person. Often, people drag out virtual communication for weeks or even months. This creates illusions, and when the meeting finally happens, expectations may not match reality.

The optimal time to suggest meeting is after a few days of active, pleasant texting. When you feel that it's easy to communicate, you laugh at the same jokes, and share common topics, don't delay. The transition to reality should be easy and natural.

Suggest meeting in a format that doesn't commit you to long hours together. For example: "I really enjoy our chats. How about grabbing coffee this weekend and continuing the conversation in person?". Choose cozy, public places. A cup of coffee or a short walk in the park is an ideal option for a first date.
